Looks good, but I have to ask.. Is the 5 mm in the front really all that noticeable? I can't really tell from the pics. I just keep thinking to myself, 5mm is half a centimeter, that's nearly nothing. Just wondering if it's worth the $60 or so for the 5 mm spacers.

It is noticeable. The wheels sit even now. Sometimes I regret getting the fronts now because the alignment seems to be off (also I think I need my wheels balanced). If the problems I am seeing now are gone after the alignment and balancing, I won't regret getting the fronts.

I have 15mm H&R spacers on the front of my 4th gen to clear my 300ZX TT BBK, I'd like to clear up some myths here, the H&R 5mm don't come with replacement studs hence half the price of the 15mm with studs. Any spacers that cause vibrations are not hub centric which is key! I used a cheap ebay type spacer that had the studs already built into the spacer for a while, the vibrations were scary, but that was because they were a somewhat generic spacer and were not hub centric. Don't waste your money if they don't say hubcentric don't buy them. H&R work well. (4th and 5th gen spacers are the same.)

Copied from the H&R website:
TRAK+ Wheel Spacers

Typ A32 5/114.3 66.2 Stud 12x1.25 DRS 5mm 1065662 $ 68.95 Pair
DRS 15mm 3065662 $ 119.95 Pair
DRS 20mm 4065662 $ 125.00 Pair
DRM 25mm 5065662 $ 149.95 Pair

I did not think this thread would last this long! I have learned alot through all this bickering though: AS IS HOW I TAKE IT- definately the 20mm H&R in the rear because of the fact they are quality and hubcentric, then if you want to spend the money and totally even out the front and back go for the H&R 5mm in front. for a grand total of around $200 for both or just about $130 for the front.
So, I am sold with getting the rears and if I still do not think it is good enough I will go for the front 5mm later. Thanks everyone.

H&R, Eibach, those are prob your best choices for hubcentric spacers. They make ones specifically for the Max and all other Nissans/Infinitis

Still deciding between the H&R or Eibach spacer. Planning to put 25mm rear and 15mm at front.

I just got H&R 25mm spacers for my rear wheels from Optauto. The install went fine, but I found when I hit a hard bump during a turn one of the rear tires ever-so-slightly rubbed. That's on an I35 though (lowered with H-techs), there may be just enough clearance on the Maxima.
