Hi, all....just a short message for now. Picked up my '01 Sterling Mist GLE yesterday, and I can definitely say this car is a long ways from the Toyota Avalon I traded in. I guess I got an ok deal but really nothing to write home about. Maybe should have waited a coupla months for better deals to come along, but my Toyota was crowding 50,000, and I figured it was time to take the Nissan plunge after a series of 5 Toyotas( with one Dodge Neon sandwiched in there. This, of course, was when I was still drinking heavily). Anyway, I am pretty concerned about the whole paint thing, but after 215 miles, I've only found one small one on the front passenger fender. Getting it fixed tomorrow.

Mainly, I just wanted to thank all you guys for helping me make the decision. This forum has been a great help, and I appreciate it. I've wanted to try a Maxima for many years so I hope this experience turns out a good one. Take care all and enjoy the ride.
