Never seen this before

Hello to all,
I recently purchased a 2000 se with a 5-speed. All four calipers are sticking. I did some extensive searching and could not find any info on this matter. I did install a new caliper on the left front to see if by some strange twist of circumstance, the calipers themselves were to blame. However, the problem still persists. This leads me to believe that there is either a problem with the master cylinder or abs unit. Also, there are no warning lights for the ABS. If anyone can shed some light on this, please feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem with the back left caliper and the problem was the rusty/stuck brake line.

do a whole system flush.. and lubricate all brake components, if the brake seals are broken.

I had a problem with my rear calipers sticking, when I replaced my pads, lines and rotors I also cleaned the calipers really well and flushed all new brake fluid in... have not had a problem since.

instead of flushing, first bleed them. might be that simple; if it persists, then flush.

If it has the original fluid it is not a bad idea to flush the system... It cost under $10 and takes under an hour to do.

I believe I have narrowed the problem down to either a faulty master cylinder, or ABS actuator. My buddy drove the car to the point where the brakes would stick, and then I opened different lines until the wheel would break free. The tests show that the master cylinder is more than likely to blame, but I can't entirely rule out the ABS. I thought about a full flush, but the fluid looks and smells fine. Also, I had already bled the left front when testing the caliper theory. Thanks for the replies.
