AE limited Slip?

Do all Anniversary Editions have limited slips, whether it be an automatic or a manual? Just curious becuase i have heard various things and i want the correct answer. Thanks guys!

yes. But the VLSD do wear out after awhile.

lsd is for manual trans only.

LSD is for both autos and manual.

As for the VLSD wearing out, unfortunately there isn't a way to determine that. My take is that the normal clutch type HLSD can be worn out more easily and that the viscous liquid dependency of the VLSD makes wear less apparent.

Check your transaxle code. Its located on an aluminium plate on the upper right hand side of your engine bay. Its on the firewall. If your transaxle code ends in "V" then you have VLSD.

Example from 4th Gen with VLSD:



Before anyone asks, for the 02-03 6 speeds with the HLSD, the transaxle code is RS6F51H for cars equipped with HLSD and RS6F51A for open differential.

No difference, maybe you mean VLSD and HLSD.
