PLEASE HELP!!!
Also realize that this project is going to need time for working out kinks and fine tunning things so they will be reproducable. Don't worry, results will be legal for all you OEM guys out there.

LEDs are much more efficient especially in the daytime. I don't know about where you guys live but the past few years most traffic lights in Orlando have LED's in them (even replacing old lights that worked fine) or at least that is what they look like. They are very clear and visible during the day even with the florida sun beating directly on them. They light up immediately and turn off immediately unlike regular bulbs. I remember the first car that I saw with them it was the 00-02 (I think) cadillac cts, the one with nightvision. for the LEDs I'm sure we will see them on almost every car in the near future, it is a definite enhancement to lighting.

I tried to make some last year spent like $80 on a set of tails to work on and ended up screwing them up pretty bad! So I kinda gave up, but it can def be done the most dificult part is getting the tails open with out messing them up! I may make an attempt at this again over break...

Yeah I first tried to use a heat gun to open them and that was where things really got messed up. Then I went with a dremmel, but I never got around to doing anything with sealing them back up so im not to sure how you would go about doing that. I have pics of where I dremmeled them if you are interested...

Where can I obtain one of these boards at?

And just think, I was going to flame this one! Good job, just be sure to keep the LED placements close together so it looks clean when finished. You don't want to look like that E-gay one!

Just sit back and trust this will be done right. The only barrier is opening up the tails cleanly so that they can be resealed with no leaking of course. This project is gonna be damn near production quality or it's not gonna be leaving my hands.

You can make them work without the PWM but it isnt as solid as doing it this way and this is stable for up to 20 watts which translates to a sh*t load of LED's. And you can adjust things like the brightness on the fly.

I use to take apart RX7 tail lights. I would remove this little tinted plastic from the tails and then seal them again......
Your best bet is a heat gun or to stick them in the oven on way low....Then when you seal them you want to make sure that there is an even layer of sealer on the connecting edges....
Let me check the dealership on Monday and ask for Maxima tails. if they have them..they are yours bro..

i needed an equalizer for my LED directional bulbs because they draw alot less power than the standard bulbs so the directional blinked fast (the car thought a bulb was out)
check out my page about my LED set up and read the problems under each bulb disciption

Load equalization is what the resistor DOES.
