buying a SALVAGE
This is about a non-Maxima but its a general question...(yes I do have a max)
Its a '01 Pathfinder w/ 26K but its a salvage...
Being an 01 with only 26K should I risk it or what?...is there anything important I can look for damage wise to know definitly stay away?
any advice?
From the pics its looks nice inside and out no obvious damage, carfax also confirms the salvage but nothing else
thanks

if i buy a salvage i only buy it from a TRUSTED person, that allows me to see the care BEFORE it gets fixed, so i know what kind of damage it had. I would never buy salvage if i couldn't see what kind of damage it had

I wouldn't worry if it was salvaged because of a bad engine, because you can always change that for less then a $1000. If it had body damage, I wouldn't even look at it. The frame could have been really messed up.

I have a salvage bought it with 20 thousand miles for 7000g's.And took it to my friends bosy shop to get it fixed and, the damage wast tht serious just replace the back beam and fix the back left quater panel and today it has 50 thousand miles drives like new.Basically never buy a salvage with air bags deployed and hit in front.
