HEAD UNIT double din?

I know that we have a double DIN headunit, does anyone know where i can get an installation kit for it? I recently just bought a touchscreen DvD moniter(should be receiving it soon) and it is a double din and i want to install it but dont know where to get the kit from.

http://www.cardomain.com/item/SCONN1494B you can make it double din with some hacking. Or you can get the GXE dash piece from courtesy nissan. It will cost you around 100$.

You need the GXE vent assembly from courtesy nissan.com...it is the ONLY doulbe-din kit that will provide a clean look for monitor assembly (that I am aware of)

Or just make metal make you a super duper fancy custom fiberglass one.

Make one out of the aftermarket kits... you can pick on up at Bestbuy if your in a hurry or they go for 6 bucks on ebay....
if you want check out this link for some help and ideas...
i bought two dash kits, cut them up, glued them and painted

DASH KIT it has to be the BEST and ONLY dash kit for the double din in dash monitor set up

I hace the BOSE system right now, that one says without BOSE on the bottom, is there really a dif. and that is pretty expensive for a danm installation kit dont u think. but it does look neat thou

thats a pretty nice unit, yua its a bit on the expensive side... but like everything in this world you get what you pay for i guess

it is a nice unit, but the problem that i have is that i cant find a kit to install it. so its just going to be sitting in my room. which is going to drive me crazy. i havent received it yet thou maybe by the end of next week.

You do realize that you live in the same city as Don, aka God of All that is Car Audio and Electronics forum, right? He would be able to help you install this for you...I could always give you a hand as well.

You are going to need a wiring harness adapter from Crutchfield. And you should absolutley purchase the dhas kit Taco linked, otherwise it will look as hell.

wish i lived near don so he can install my audio system for me.

i saw this touchscreen before. I wonder if these players last long? Im pretty iffy on generic players. I like it a lot, and wouldnt hesitate to get one, but i need some reviews.

Eh your not all That far. Just do a Very large setup and make it worth the drive.

Dash looks pretty good. Climate controls horrible IMO. Please take it as intended..constructive criticism.

Yeah its not the best spot but it was the easiest at the time and i can always close the cover so you can not see anything at all... any suggestions?? maybe i have another project towork on? Thanks for the input tho!

well unfortunatly guys i will not be able to do this whole project. I have to wait till jan. 6, because i ran low on money with the holidays coming. so i will buy this item on the 6th and i will try to install it then. thanks for all you help thou.
