My rear bank O2 sensor is starting to crap out, and the stealership has told me the ecu needs to be reprogrammed. Wouldn't some of this be covered under the warranty?

 

They kept getting me on the ECU thing and then after paying for like 3 o2 sensors they told me that the cat was bad and they had to replace it....but when they did they still charged me for the o2 sensor that was ruined from the bad cat.

 

I got my primary O2 sensors covered by my extended warranty

They quickly said; "emission components are not covered"... well I just as quickly pointed out to them that on our maxima the primary O2 sensors are not part of the emissions system; they are part of the fuel delivery system. Since they did not specify O2 sensors, they just figured emissions would cover it, they HAD to cover them
