D2 Coilovers

Does anyone have a manual on how to adjust the D2 racing coilovers? Any help would be appreciated. I just got them installed but the ride is alittle bumpy, and the suspension seems to make some clunking sounds on occassions i just wasnt sure if it was normal? thanks.

There is no manual, but its pretty straight forward

You have two collars that inter-lock with one another and their height determines the preload of the spring to the top mount

There are two allen head bolts that go through the lower bracket, turning the threaded strut up or down determines ride height changes

Thanks for the info... But if you have the D2's what setting is yours on in the front and the back? i was trying out different settings trying to get rid of the bouncy feeling i was getting. Let me know. Thanks.

I don't have D2's anymore.

I can't recall my settings off the top of my head. I kept the front at 0.25 inch gap between the top of the spring and the aluminum cover. At the bottom, I just adjusted the strut length to the ride height I wanted.

Your bouncy feeling could be coming from your dampening adjustments. Start off with 6 clicks on the front and back and then work it up from there to find where you like it.
