Need to get extended warranty stuff done..

Hey guys,

I have 2001 SE and our extended warranty is about to expire in June 2006. We have about 75K miles on her, and thus far all we've needed to do is replace the rotors.

How should I go about "complaining" about problems that aren't really present so that I can get some work out of my warranty? Things I'd like to have done are:

1) Transmission - it's slipping, but not bad. I'd like to have this replaced. Do I have to go to Nissan or can I have an independent shop work on it? Also, what tranny should I opt for?

2) Coils - still haven't gone yet. Should I have this done now, or wait until they go?

3) Drivers seat leather cracks - one thing that pisses me off is that the drivers side leather is cracking on the seam. I take PERFECT care of my car, and it steams me that this has happened. Should I ***** about it?

Thanks guys. On the one hand, I hate to have work done prematurely, but on the other hand it would be nice to have a new transmission. Catch my drift?
