Windows with own mind

Today i get to work park in my regular spot and go to my office. later that day a co-worker tells me people are looking into my car as if trying to get something. i go outside to see what the problem is and notice my windows are rolled all the way down. i know we can open the windows by holding the unlock button on our keyless remote but theres no way the i could have pressed the button that long or been close enough for it to pick up. somehow my windows rolled themselves all the way down. what can this be?? anyone have this problem? not a good thing to have your windows open in nb!

I've had the same thing happen to me. It hasn't happened again in like 10 months, but it freaked me out when it happened. The only thing I could think of is the remote buttons were pushed down accidently or it's a glitch in the system.

happened twice to me. Luckily it wasn't raining and I didn't have anything worth snagging in it. Never found out why.

2000/01 don't have it. Don't ask why, one of the weirdest things Nissan ever did.

It would be something very simple, sometimes two remotes are on the same frequency and your windows going down is someone elses unlock button. A while back, on my compustar, when I opened my doors, a pontiac grand ams alarm would go off. As soon as I closed the doors, the alarm turned off.

Hold down the unlock button on the remote and both auto windows will go down. Use your key in the door and turn to the lock position and both auto windows will go up, its a nice way to cool the car in the summer.

With all the Maximas in my complex, I never seen any with the windows down as mentioned above, hope it never happens to mine.
