Hnda Etr's 2002:

This for a 4th Gen, but its pretty much the same:

And I know its probably too late, but I think its easier just getting new LCAs, installing the bushings on those, and then replacing the entire LCA. You can just sell the old ones to someone else.

pain in the aaahhh

I replaced my bushings several months ago. big handling improvement, and it also smoothed out the ride. I feel like my suspension works more actively now that all the bushings arent giving. Hard to explain. anyway , pull the control arms off and set them on the bench in a vice. take a ball joint press and squeeze the bushing out of the sleeve. next use an air chisel and carefully cut a slice down the inside of the remaining metal sleeve. then pop out sleeve with the air chisel. the other bushing needs to be done the same way. these bushings are really in there! Ive done bushings on many cars , and my max was the toughest yet. also when done, the lip on my front bushings was being very tightly squeezed once the arm was bolted in. the lip eventually ripped off and my arms squeaked like bastards. i just flipped the bushings around so that i have a lipped bushing on the very front so they dont rub. please use the supplied grease liberally. unless your in a shop, dont even attempt these bushings. good luck.
