Strut Qs, before going back to stock springs

I have had h&R springs on my car for about 3 moths, and would like to go back to OEM SE springs. The Tokico blues have been on for about 2 months with the H&Rs. I know they are compressed about 1.5" more than normal because of the lower ride height with the lowering springs. Here is my question: if I go back to stock, and raise it to OEM height, will Tokicos perform as good as they would brand new out of the box? Seeing how they were comressed by 1.5" for a little while, I don't know if it would be "looser" ride going back to stock height.
Does anyone have any experience going back to stock height after being lowered? Any comments are appreciated.

As long as they aren't damaged (leaking) they should perform just like OOTB. I've run Progress and H&R on my stock struts and switched back to stock a few times in between and noticed no impact to strut performance.

Been running my H&R front only setup for over a year with no issues. Couldn't be happier.

Your struts will be fine as long as they are not damaged.

I remember reading somewhere, that a shock loses 50% of its dampening force within the first 20k miles. Im sure once you swap the springs out, the car will feel alot looser.

oh great. =( my main consern is will they compress/rebound noticably worse after being lowered versus OOTB with OEM height from the beginning. i am pretty sure they will run just fine in general, they only have 2k or so miles on them.

2K miles is nothing. Your struts will be just fine.
