P0420 code pulled - Three Way Catalyst
Ok so ive been driving around for about a month now with the CEL annoying the crap out of me, i couldnt get a chance to head over to autozone and get the code pulled. so finally this past friday, now that classes are over, i was able to head over to autozone. they pulled the code for me and it turned out to be P0420. i came here to do some research and discovered a huge thread about this. i discovered that there is TSB on 00-01 A33s for P0420, but the car has to be cali-spec, and under 8yrs/80,000 miles. the first thing i did was i ran outside and checked to see if my car is cali-spec. sure enough i discovered that it is! so the next thing i did was i called staten island nissan and scheduled an appt for this coming friday to get the ECM reprogrammed and voila!...the CEL will hopefully be gone.
now after my above long rant
i have no experience with going to the dealer for repairs, so do i tell them that i know the code and that i found the TSB or should i just give them the car and wait for them to bullsiht me?
thanks in advance

dont wait for the bs. just bring a copy of it with you and tell you had the code pulled already. it should save you time and aggravation. the 8yr/80k is federally mandated so if they give you lip then call nissan. 800-nissan1

Sloppy is correct. Although, I'd still keep my guard up since stealerships are known for pulling stupid crap. I've been through it one too many times, and no longer put up with it. I've since changed stealerships and advised the one that I was going to that, they are full of themselves along with a report to Nissan Motors regarding their disrespecting service. Others might have had different experiences there, but I for one have not had any luck.
I'm trying not to jack your thread with stealership bashing, so just take what Autozone printed you and present it too them along with the tsb. I hope it works out for you. I remotely recall it being mentioned somewhere here, that Staten Island Nissan was alright, but not 100% sure.
