fuse?!

i dont know but while i was installing my hid kit i think i messed something up. My parklights and taillights dont work anymore when i turn my headlights on.
I thought I blew a fuse so i practically tested all of those tiny fuses and replaced most of them and the problem went away, but now its back for good and no fuses are blown. what could be wrong?

I had the same problem too. By the way did you get a plug and play HID kit?
If its a plug and play kit then one of the wires must be touching metal. Then Im thinking youve got the kit with no high beam right?

Did you even use a tester when you were installing the HID kit? Improper splicing
causes this problem too.
You need to answer these questions so I could help you further

It was a plug a play kit, but one of my bulbs went bad and a buddy of mine who im almost sure is one of those people who **think** they know everything, he spliced a bulb of the same K into the wires and it works. So im guessing improper splicing? is there anything i can do to fix it?

Yeah thats the problem. He might have spliced the wrong wires or one of the wires is touching a ground. To check if they're right wires, use a tester. You could get one cheap at any autozone for 5 bucks. Test for negative(ground) on the spliced wire with light on low beam , the positive should turn the tester light on. if it doesnt then that means theres a problem with the splicing.
hope this helps

Blown fuse is in one of two locations:

(1) Driver side panel in the cabin, check fuses #13 & #14.

(2) Under the hood, on the driver side.

In either location, it will be a 10A fuse. This will solve your light problem.
