window UP via key fob?

One can roll the windows down using the fob. I heard that there is a module that will let you roll the windows up in the same manner. Does anyone know anything about this? Im sorry if this is a repost, I found nothing on the subject.

i think you have to have the dealer adjust your fob....i forget. my dads altima had a problem where he would come out to his car and his windows would be halfway down.

anyway read your manual, it says in there.

You can roll them down from the fob. Lock the car with the fob and then press and hold the unlock button for a few seconds. I wish you could roll the windows up as well, like in my old 530i. Kabir says it works on 02/03 but not on 01.

You can role the windows up using your key... i dont think it will close the sunroof like on jettas but at least the windows will roll up when u lock your car with the key and hold it in the lock position, same goes for rolling down but the remote does that for you....

You can not roll the windows up using the key fob on 00-03 maxima. The 02-03 can roll down the windows using the key fob. Don't know if the 00-01 can............5.5 rock.......

I believe you are correct, I will test it out tomorrow. If my memory serves me well, I did it over the summer, I had the windows down and needed to roll them up because it was about to rain outside.

I was the "test" car for the KP module. It worked great until my locks freaked out. Kevin hooked it up so that I could roll the windows up and the locks would lock after a delay when entering the vehicle.

You can roll the windows up on a 5.5 gen with the key. Turn the key one way in the lock and hold. The windows magically go up.

I would try the KP module again but I'm not interested in paying for it.

I tried to promote this a while back, and help KPTechnologies out. There was no interest in this back then, but I've had it since I started this thread below. You can contact them, I love the convience of mine and has not failed me yet. (Knock on wood) The locks went crazy cause of a programming option when you install it. You can either have it lock the doors automatically with the key in the ignition or disable this feature. Read up on this and enjoy it.

Because it happens sometimes that you leave your windows down when you leave the car and go into the house, but then it starts to rain and you don't feel like getting wet to roll up your windows.

yeah, I know there are "reasons" for it, I just think it's funny...like the electric fold-down rear seats on SUV's - I mean, how hard is it to pull up the little **** and push the seat down? Americans = so lazy these days

Perhaps its just a case of individual preference. Personally I feel the auto down via fob feature is somewhat incomplete without being able to go up as well. Its like having a switch to roll down the window and a crank to put it back up
