it only happens when the car is cold
its not liquid involved just gas and it seems that there is a build of gas that needs to be realeased which causes the (hisssing) sounds like a pump being punctured this noise can be heard inside the car and inside the egine bay it sounds likes is coming from the bottom of the ac hose but not sure
i was thinking it could be the pcv valve but i dont want to start changing parts untill im sure
any other suggestions

I don't know for sure cause I am not near your car but, It could be the vaccuum lines or like you said something along the the lines of a litterally frozen pcv valve,...... But then again you would have a reduction in the performance of the car if it was frozen. Does the hissing sound get louder as you rev the engine or accelerate ?

I guess the most important question in order to solve this is, does it affect the performance of your car enough that you notice it? Then you will know if you have a real problem. Like I said though I am not near your car so I don't know for sure if that is it at all.

Vacuum leak. Mine is doing the same thing. Sounds like I have a turbo when it's cold. It took a while to throw the evap air leak code.
