ditto, even though I don't have my stock wheels anymore. I have full confidence in my stopping ability with the A34 setup....

How much do the 300zx calipers cost? Do you run the 300zx rotor as well with that setup?

You can get em from junkyards for anywhere between 45-85 apiece, or contact Matt93SE or Jeff92SE for refinished calipers. They will also be able to give you rotor options. I believe the options for rotors include 6th Gen rotors (including the 2 piece rotors that Matt is selling), 300Z rotors, and Cobra rotors.

never heard of this. Do they bolt right up? do they fit behind our stock rims? How big is the rotor, how many piston calipers?

but has it been determined if a relocation bracket is needed or not? Do you actually have the Q45 calipers? I wasn't aware anyone had actually done it yet.

Assuming decent condition, I'd say that's a good deal.

If I had my choice I'd get 300z brakes...just cuz I heard they are great and can't go wrong with the 4 piston design....they are relatively inexpensive too...much cheaper than a true BBK upgrade....you can prob get 300z calipers, a34 2 piece rotors, SS lines, relocation kit, and pads...for like less than 1k...throw in another $100 or so and get rear rotors and pads to balance out the brake bias....much cheaper than 2k+ BBK systems....

Btw Sciff, you do know that 300Z calipers will not fit under the stock 17s without spacers right? Then again, you have an I30, so I'm not sure what kinda rims ya have.

Yeah I know. I actually have an I35 with Sport package, the sport package has different rims than the normal I35. They look somewhat like G35 rims only with thicker spokes. I would post a picture but for some reason I cant post attachments. Anyone want to let me know whats goin on with that?

Pics have to be hosted somewhere first.... then do the .

You should still check to see if your rims have clearance for those calipers.

Link doesn't work for me, but as long as you know it'll fit, that's all that matters.

I'm actually not sure if they will fit. I was just asking in general which setup people prefer. But it would be cool if anyone knew if the 300zx brakes fit behind these rims. Anyway here is the link. This one should work.
