Has anyone bought a front or rear lip from the sellers on ebay. How is the Quality and Fitment of it. Price seems good.

 

I was thinking the same thing. I saw them the other day.

 

i bought my front lip on ebay, it was cheap but fitment was a little off, and mine broke already.

I bought mine last week and it got here yesterday. It appears to be of decent quality, but the seller sold me the wrong front lip kit (00-01). I am changing my front bumper to the 02-03 version and I wanted THAT lip. Tried to get in touch with them, but they havent answered my emails.

In any event, if you wanna get my front lip, let me know.

 

it broke cause i hit those rectangular thingys at a parking spot, the part where it is connected to the side broke apart.

 

ebay kits are poor quality. dont buy them. better off getting the right one the first time, instead of having buying two.

 

I am assuming it is an ABS dynamics front lip kit? If so, they ONLY make front lips for 00-01 maximas....if you try fitting that lip onto your 02-03 bumper, it will not directly bolt on...

if your lip kit is different from ABS dynamics, plz ignore my response....but provide me with the link to the auction cuz I'm interested in seeing this

 

I hear the fitment and quality are good...the only thing is, the front lip is very vulernable since its in the front....its better to go with a stillen polyureathane lip since it takes more abuse than ABS plastic....the rear you can choose ABS no prob cuz the rear doesn't see nowhere as much abuse as the front does

 

Ive got a Maxxtuning front lip ,Last week i won a ABS Dynamics rear off ebay for $51 shipped from others experiance they seem to fit nicely and be of good quality.

 

Where can I find the Maxxtuning front lip?

 

The abs lip is a tight fit and you need to dremel off a little bit on the passenger side. Other than that, it is fragile where the corners meet on the outer portion of the fog light. Other than that, I think it looks great, both front and rear. It hasn't cracked in any other place and it does take a beating since my lip tends to bend a lot going up some driveways.

 

You can get away using fiberglass for sides and rear but get urethane for front

 

i got an Ebay lip the ABS plastic one, for like $81 shipped, i tried to fit it on, i had some trouble, so my dad had to work on it to get it to fit, so i took it off, and iam waiting for spring/ summer, for weather to get warmer, that way i can paint it, and it should go easier on. Other than that its all good, i am trying to get rear lip too.

 

i got ABS front and rear. So far so good, yea the fitment was kinda off but it looks great. I got backed into a few days go and my rear lip with stood the impact.

 

i just bought the rear abs lip off ebay yesterday. hopefully i'll get it by the end of this week and be able to install it this weekend. i'll post how it turns out.

 

What the diff between 00-01 and 02-03 front bumpers?
What headlights does that white max have in the pic?

 

If you look closely, 5.5 gen (2002-03) bumpers are shaped differently. You can't put a 5th gen lip on that bumper without modifications.
