4500k is not that yellow, something more like 3000k or 2500k would be more like it. 2k2/2k3 headlights are bluish white and are 4300k. thats gotta be a typo...

IIRC, the "k" in 4300k is the heat/kelvin rating...I believe the yellow light comes from the yellow glass on the bulb - this bulb likely has a similar color to the PIAA Crystal Ion or the Narva Gold.....possibly a bit more yellow than that.

it will have a nice yellow contrast to the HIDs, but just don't expect it to be as yellow as the capsules

just don't expect it to be as yellow as the capsules

the cheapest and possibly the only place to get the capsules is hittech.com right irish??

yes, but remember, it is a PITA to install them. If you're not willing to risk messing up your fog lights, go with yellow bulbs, not the capsules!

damn you with all the capsule hyping.....is there a discription on how to install them? how would you mess up the fogs with the instal anyways

and the fog light I messed up is in a cabinet in my basement It's just for parts and experimentation now...cannnot be used again!

These lights would be about a tad yellow-er than stock...
