Removing stuff from window

Anyone ever got one of those temporary license things on the back of the window. How do I get that off the window. I tried alcohol and it doesn't work at all and I tried windex as well. Anything else I should tried, I dun want to use like steel or something to rub it since the defrosters are back there. Any help would be nice, thanks.

I spent the first week on the stickies.....so much info. in there it isn't even funny. And I know you think I'm kidding about the week, but I'm not. especially the FAQ's and the how to install stickies...... and I wouldn't suggest using a knife or blade on the rear window, I'd hate to lose my rear defrost. just a thought, and welcome to the org.

Like Brinkley said i would avoid razor. I had good luck with a clay bar on the window and then just clean the film that the clay bar leaves if u dont use lubricant which is easy.
