Colors of Wires for O2 Sensor?
I am looking at the O2 sensor wires before the connector. This is the B1 sensor before the main cat (I have fed spec 2K):

Does anyone know what the wires are that are coming from the harness? I see orange-blue, red-yellow and one OR two white wires.
Coming from the main harness I found: orange-blue and red-yellow are connected directly to the connector. White wire is thick coming out of the harness but about 1" before the connector it becomes much thinner (half the gauge than original) and there are some loose hairs of the thicker wire that were just wrapped around sitting loose. Now, how many white wires going to the connector are there supposed to be and what are they (signal may be)? The wires after the connector has only 3 wires (1 signal and 2 heater, 2 black and 1 white, I think). What is the second white wire before connector for and should I connect it to the other white before the connector?
I think someone may have played with it in the past and may be the cause of my problems...

I'm trying to remember correctly. I had to rewire everyone of my o2 sensors during the header install. I think the white wires are the heaters for the o2 if there are 2 white wires. and oe is possibly the ground. I dont have a FSM here now but someone is more than welcome to chime in and correct me if im wrong.

Yes, that is correct for the wiring after the connector (between connector and sensor itself), but I was looking for what the wires are before the connector, specifically the white wire and what the shield around it is, I assume that it is GND. I had attached an extension to this shield wire that was hanging loose and grounded it. I was just wondering if someone could confirm that I have done the right thing, i.e. that the shield around the white before the connector (coming off the main harness) is indeed intended for GND... Thanks...
