if you just want the aluminum look, the AutoVation pedals are far superior to the AE pedals, FYI:

http://www.autovation.net/

they run group deals on the org periodically...

can't beat Dave Burnette at South point nissan in price, shipping charges (freight), and no tax. Courtesy parts is expensive

888-254-6060

irish: does your foot ever slip off those pedals during rainy days? Those pedals have no rubber grip area like the AE pedals

nope, never had that problem....the brake and clutch pedals have slightly raised ridges (around the holes and edges) for grip. The gas pedal is smooth. I've driven a maxima with the AE pedals, and I prefer the shape and grip of these.

also, you CAN order them from autovation with rubber inserts (more like the AE).....I just didn't want the rubber inserts.

smooth rubber IS slippery when wet...I don't know why you guys all think the rubber HELPS with pedal grip when wet - it only helps when dry.

go with pedals with holes and metal ridges, like the ones I posted above....

I never said it helps, I only asked the question.

I know first hand that my AE pedals get quite slippery when my shoes are wet

Larry, that particular reply was to boonedox, not you.

how would they be "rice" if they work better? Usually, rice infers that something is done just for looks, with no performance benefit (body kits, big tails, bling wheels, etc). These are just the opposite, done for performance only, not looks.

I don't spend much time looking at my feet while driving...more concerned with feet not slipping and having a good pedal contact feel. though I like the way they look, looks were not part of the equation when I was selecting pedals to buy.

each to his own though...some prefer the show to the go, which is all good too.....

if you were a real home depot mod king you'd have some tread tape on your pedals

Are these inserts? Do you clip them on? Or do you remove the old pedal?

You have to drill holes in your stock pedals.

Very good pedals though. Clutch and brake pedals are very grippy regardless weather conditions or shoes you are wearing. Gas pedal is made in such a way that you can actually heal-toe downshift.

AutoVation fit and finish is just as good. AE are for looks, AutoVation are made with performance in mind.
