This was right after we made these videos.
This guy tries to race sx7r all the time.
He starts pulling on me cause he has a gay 5 speed. But at the end it turns out differnt.

Yongjun, I also have a 2001 Max SE w/auto and am wondering if you can feel a difference with your mods versus when it was stock. Also have you ever raced a 5spd Max. If not, what have you raced and beat and also what were some close races you've had. Thanks for any info.

1badmax: yea I notice power gains from when my maxima was stock.

I used to get beat by my friends 99 rustang with dual flowmasters and cai.
when i had just intake on there he would only pull a car.
With other mods i totally beat him.

Look for other threads of cars I have raced.

As far as 4th gen maxes. I raced brokenmotor several times. But not without my new exhuast setup and my go baby go setup. He pulls me by like 3 car lengths. He has rebuilt VQ with CAI, Y pipe, B pipe, Exhaust, No cat, and Superafc.

I will find out how bad he beats me when I race him tonight at the street races

YJ, In the prelude video, Is the driver of the prelude flashing you a peace sign, a gang sign, or waving bye bye as he goes by? It definitely looks like he is doing something with his hand other than steering or shifting, but I can't tell.

Also, your exhaust sounds sweet.

This guy in a cavalier raced me today...... I usually wouldn't bite at an opportunity like that, but this guy was asking for it

u sure he didnt beat u drag racing until the curve? it looks like he did until he slammed on the brakes..

Cause the curve only last for about 2 seconds.
After the curve i slowed down to 60 and then when he was at my rear window he I floored it and he never caught up.

He was flashing me the peace according to sx7r.
He better have

Remember fast cars are for straight lanes but good drivers are for curves... or something like that.

Honestly.
I think it would have been really close.
If there wasn't a stop light I would have found out.
I don't know what my 0-60 times will be.
I have to take out the spare and get everything ready for the track on friday.

In street racing pulling two cars is a lot! What year and what mods does his car have? What distance (or speed) were you at when he was two cars ahead? You don't have any kind of intake now other than stock?
