Cleaned out the throttle body of the car with throttle body cleaner and now the SES (Service Engine Soon) light came on about 2days after. got car diagnost and they said it was code 0505 throttle idle control valve.
opened it up seemed to be fne how do u know if its damaged?

 

Yeah, I heard of people having troubles with this valve after cleaning the throttle. Lucky, for me, I was very careful in cleaning mine without any troubles. But, anyway, I would just clear the code and wait to see if it comes back. If it does, then something is definitely wrong. Maybe in need of a new one or just double-check the connection.
