question about y pipes

Just a quick question:

Will a Warspeed y-pipe for a 2k2 fit a 2k cali spec?

really dont think so but u can easily call warpspeed (Dallas?) and verify. Cant make a CA spec a federal spec. I tried to lose an O2 too but was denied.

They won't fit, y-pipes are different.

Your answer is right, but evidence is wrong.

Your first picture shows SS Autochrome headers and not a 5th Gen y-pipe, even though that's what a FED spec y-pipe would look like because it has the same "bend" going up to the front manifold.

Your second picture shows Hotshot headers for a VQ30/35, but the y-pipe from a header set is not the same as the y-pipes for use with the stock manifolds.

What does making a CALI spec a FED spec have to do with the question?

And a FED spec conversion can be done to any CALI spec Maxima.
