Hi guys, i've been trying to post on this forum but it took a while=) hehe, but u'all will see me quite often from now on.
I have my 00'SE for 17 months and 22,000 miles, but my concern started when the car is brand new. When shifting to 1st and releasing the clutch the car acts like a jack rabbit, its almost impossible for me to shift smoothly, it jerks and pulls, but after it gets rolling its not as bad. Sometimes i even think there must be a bad connection between engine and tranny. Dont think the clutch is burned or used up, 'cause im pretty good with the clutch and i never smell anything burning. My other 2 manual cars are nothing like this. Except for this and cheap interior rattle pieces take some enjoyment out of this car, otherwise its a good dialy driver and cant wait to see what the new 260hp one's like.

Some pics of my car:

Hi John,

Welcome to the board. I'm suprised that no one has answered you on this. You should be able to find all of the information that you need about this in the sticky FAQ section on top of the posting list. So that you know what you are looking for, this problem that you describe sounds like a very common one that has a technical service bulletin (TSB) out on it. There is some sort of fuel cut off issue that can be remedied by reprogramming the ECU on your car. According to what I've read this is somthing that Nissan will do for free as long as you can prove it is a problem. That is of course if you consider nagging persistently FREE!
