yea, I see where I would try to get it warrantied just the same as he did........Be carefull though. If you go through the dealership and they decide not to warranty it, then it's going to be a PITA to get the old engine back (after it's been sent for analysis and already torn down )for a core on a reman....just a thought...Doesn't the dealership check tread depth from front/rear??? I mean have you got this in writing??

Haha, I love when OT hits these threads. I really hope, not for Nissan's stealership's sake, but for us, the enthusiasts, that you get screwed over at the dealer and they discover what you've done and void your warranty.

interesting... ....so you're saying you abused the motor huh?...
I agree with most on here that posting this MAY not be the smartest thing you've done, short of Running a knocking motor to 6k and keeping it there for 20 seconds...but hey...go for the trifecta of making dumb moves....whats next...

This is the reason that we all have warranty problems, from halfwits like you that figure that their cars are indestructible and beat on them to death. I really hope someone from nissan reads this and voids your warranty, leaving you to learn from your own reckless stupidity. Please, do us all a favor and dont post things like this here anymore.
