My New HU and Orange Led Climate Control, Swithces, etc

Here are sum pics of My New HU its a Alpine CDA-9855, Its a pretty cool HU its got a bunch of cool features like Time correction, and i-personalize. In the process of switching my HU i also decided to swicth my climate control, Master Switch, and all the other switches to orange LEDs.The pics kinda shift most of the light to key points on the climate but it really is nicely distributed in person. The only thing im missing is the gauges. i wanted to do intelliglow needles but im waitin for Metal_Maxima to succesfully pull it off to see if it is possible cuz i am really not that good at finding solutions to problems. They are 5000mcd Leds that i bought on ebay and came with resistors they had pretty fast shipping, it took two weeks compared to the month and a half it took my 20000mcd leds for the angeleyes to get here. I also did the shifter light mod which came out amazing it really looks nice. Well here are the pics ENJOY!!!

yes i know about the vents you should see the center console its horrendous looks like the previous owners were into sum excorsict type ****. W/e its the only thing looking that was wrong with the car . about prices im not sure cuz it is very time consuming i swore that i wouldn't do this for anyone but if you give me a reasonable price i may be able to do it for you. I did all four window switches climate control and the shifter light mod. About the clock ive heard that you can change that one by putting a piece of colored plastic of sum type im not sure. You must order the leds of your color choice and get at least 50 of them cuz you never know what might go wrong. Just PM me for more info

awesome job man. I'm assuming you only changed the LED's int he back of the climate control. Thats what I did but some people have opened it up and stuck them in a piece of plastic that goes through it. Mine looks exactly like yours does in the pics but is pretty even in person. I also wired up an LED in each vent to help with the contrast. It looked to plain with the light on bottom and nothing on top. Heres a pic:

I also wired a rocker switch up to the shifter light and the vent lights and put it in my cig adapter. I noticed your is empty so it may be a good idea. Incase I ever need to turn them off for whatever reason I can.

get some marine goop adhesive. Put the LED into a rubber grommet so it has the small groove in the middle of the circle (you will know what I mean when you see the grommets). Use the metal from a twist tie and secure the grommet/LED to the back on the vent housing and glue it in place. Run the wires down to the same leads you used for the shifter light. Metal Maxima might still have some pics, not sure if I have them still.

What is the part number for the LEDs you used for the Climate controls and what parts should I get to do the Vent LEDs? Is this stuff I can get at local AutoZone or should I try eBay?

each led has a hole drilled for it to slip into..so the LEDs are actually countersunk "inside" the plastic to they get the best light dissipation....

looks like 8 or 9, just look for the "hot spots". BTW you know this is only really neccessary if you have the auto climate control. Just want to let you know because if you have manual, like me, just just need to put them in place of the 3 light bulbs. If you need tips let us know!

one for each button in the climate control (which in the case of the auto is 9 or 10...)
