cattman rear section...
i jus got my cattman rear section from one of our fellow orger... all i bought from him was his rear section... now i want to install it to my stock piping... any gaskets or anything required... or jus bolts right up...?
it bolts right up to the stock rear section...i'm not too sure if you can "reuse" your stock gasket though...you can always get an aftermarket gasket at the local muffler shop...make sure its 2.5 inches

I think the stock gasket for the muffler and B-Pipe is a metal ring, not a standard gasket.
I think... Anyway, I reused the Cattman gasket when I put the 02 muffler on.

Glad you like it, I never really smelled it though.
As for the weight, you might want to either get new exhaust hangers while it is being installed, or get metal O-Ring clamps to hold it better. Or it might hang funny.

I would go with Cattman anyway, they have great quality and your muffler was made to go with that B-Pipe.

well i've spent 45 min installing the cattman rear section.... now my question to u guys are hmmm :
1.) now that my cattman is installed... im not too happy but it beats having that damn broken exhaust making that darn squeeky noise... but with that broken exhaust... i had a really really NICE deep tone to it almost like a mustang but with out that WOP WOP WOP (the loaping noise due to the cams it has) noise... how can i get my car to sound more aggressive...
2...) ran out of questions.... how was everybody's day

Headers, B-pipe...
It is way more aggressive over stock, but if you want REALLY aggressive, you need to finish the exhaust.
The cattman is one of the most aggressive sounding mufflers offered for the Maxima (without sounding ricy IMO).
As I said Headers will add quite a bit of sound to your exhaust.
