Car stalling .... HELP
Well I was just about ready to pull out to be on my way to Houston for World Import Challenge, and then all of a sudden my car decided to just stall out at a red light. I did't know what it was so I cranked to car right back up and there was no problem. I went on down the street and put the car in neutral and reved it up and then the rpms decreased and the car stalled as I was riding down the road. It has continued to do this and if anyone knows what it is please let me know. I still plan on leaving for houston tomorrow.
nvmymax2: I noticed in your list of tranny mods you have adjusted tps....What have you done to the throttle position sensor and what benefits do you see? As for your stalling problem,
it could be a lot of things. Does the tranny shift normally? It could be the TC not unlocking that causes you to stall when you are stopped. That may be unlikely though. Does it only happen when you are stopped or in neutral? Does it happen very often?

Well...
I am not too sure what the problem was but it seems to be getting better. I took it to the nissan dealership and they couldn't find anything. So off to houston I go. Wish me luck.
As for the adjusting of the TPS, I had to adjust it to get more voltage to the TPS for the ZEX to work. In the end it not only allows the zex to work but also makes the tranny hold gears at higher rpms and shift harder. I am getting the vb mod next week and then I will see what the two are like together.
