Owners Manual

I was reading the manual the other day when i was waiting in the car for something and i noticed how much it talked about the "three way catalyst" Whats the big deal with it?? I know what it is and all, i have a cali spec car, 4 o2 sensors, it uses two precats and a main cat blah blah but why is it mentioned so much in safety boxes in the manual? Like in push starting, says you cant push start three way catalyst equipped models because it may be damaged- you shouldnt tow with the front wheels on the ground, you shouldnt drive with an SES on for any period of time etc Also you shouldnt rev the engine when its cold b/c itll be damaged. (shouldnt rev before it warms up anyway but i thought for different reasons) well just wondering if anybody else reads the manual.

plus anybody notice on the back cover it has the printing date and "A33-D" thought i had an A33-A

also why does it tell you that if you start the car within 30 mins of shutting it off in summertime, push the gas all the way to the floor when starting??
