wind deflector removal

If i wanted to remove the wind deflector on my sunroof is it as easy as simply unscrewing the 2 screws and taking up the weather strip? or is it more complicated and if i do take it off, am i going to be dealing with insane wind noise at high speeds?

no, the screws on top lead to clips that come out. be prepared to have marks on the roof where it came off though. i washed, clayed, compounded and its still there. not to bad though, car looks better without it IMO.

...man, i thought i was the only one with this problem. well, as they explained, its only 2 bolts holding it on. when you take it off, there are no holes don't worry.

I know, mine cracked because a mattress came flying across the NJ Turnpike (I was cruising at 85 - 90mph) and brushed the top of my Max. However, it left some pretty bad scratches that I want to cover back up for now.
