Its not a direct copy of the Stillen front lip. I used to have that flimsy piece of **** on my car for a short period of time... it sucked. Fitment wasn't good, the whole thing looked way out of porpotion. At the same time it was as durrable as any Fiberglass body kit out there for a Civic.... yet they say its durrable.

I ended up finally finding myself a used- AND painted black color Stillen Aero lip on the .org and snagged it for like 120 shipped. Paint has cracked and I got that "spider webb" effect on it when U are looking at it very upclose.... but its very durrable and won't crack- urethane !

I gave that Ebay Stillen knock off piece to my friend, he had it on his car for a few months and kissed a cement slab on the parking lot with it- the whole lip cracked in a buncha pieces and flew up ontop of his hood. I remember when it happened we pulled up to UPS to pick up a package in his car, and buncha people saw it, needless to say if anyone had a camera- this woulda probably won the americas funniest video contest.

Unpainted E-Bay front lip, also know as the "nismo maxima lip" on ebay.

Notice how it sticks out to the sides on the very bottom.

Head shot of the Stillen Aero lip, notice how it flows the lines of the car nicely and almost looks like it came like that from the factory. I have pics of the Painted Ebay lip also... but in my personal opinion it looks like **** and you get what you pay for.

EDIT- here is a pic from few years ago when I had my 20th Aniversary Edition 2001 Maxima front lip. It was my 1st cosmetic mod to the car, and it died of a tragic death to a road construction sign. It tore my bumper in half right under the lip also, I had to eighter buy a new bumper cover- OR buy a lip of some sort of to cover it up, and thats how I got the Ebay POS.

That's great info, pics prove the fitment sucks I wonder if the "rear lip kit" as they call it fits any better?

Pretty much, Stillen call it the classic, but SCO call it the Aero.

Turns out the rear lip is made by ABS Dynamics ( reputable company) and the fitment is very good according to approx 5 org members who have it, they sent me some very good upclose pics and I couldn't tell the difference, so I'm going with one on their recommendation. Playing it safe on the front and getting the MT lip.

Got any pics of the MT lip? So, how many lips for the 00-01 are there. The ebay one, stillen one and the MT one?

The best way to tell if its stillen or stillen knock offs is to look and see what material the lips are made out of, as far as i know all of the stillen lips are made of urethane and the knockoffs are all made out of abs plastic.

Thats correct, probably more vital on the front than on the rear, I had fiberglass Ionic Dynamic tails on my 4th gen and they were never a problem.

Knock off. Stillens lips are this dark gray color, not this light yellow ABS plastic.

i have the abs dynamics/ebay rear lip on my car right now. fitment wasn't too great, but now that i fit it, it looks great and seems very durable and flexible.

Same here. It isn't exactly the same as the stillen one, as blackbird said, but i am happy with mine. I have hit so many things and gone up driveways I should have never gone up, but my lip has served me well for the last year.

So wait. I am confused. What are the best front and rear lips to go with. The Stillen Front Lip and the ABS Dynamics Rear lip? In terms of quality and fitment.

For that Ebay price you might as well as call SCO and get it for the same price and it is the real Stillen lip...

It is on sale for $182.00 and org members get a discount.

here's a shot of the rear lip.

i cracked it while backing up on a KFC parking lot.

i bought myself another one just like it. rear doesn't need to be urethane. I never thought i would brake it.

but it's cheap, so what the hell, just get another one.

Also, don't the Stillen lips say "STILLEN" somewhere on them, where as the knockoffs do (should) not?

WHAT? SCO's price is $251.72 plus shipping! Org discount is 5%, where did you get $182 from?

Ebay is $99 & $75for shipping on the ABS Dynamics. I called them up and they let me have it for $150 shipped call Alvin or James 909-595-4798, tell them you were ref'd by an org member depending on where you live shipping may be cheaper they are in South California.

I believe Tomato Racing were selling them a little cheaper but their website is down.

ABS Dynamics are also working on Stillen side skirt copies due out late spring.

i have the ABS rear and it fits perfect. I got mine for $100shipped. I think it looks just as good as the Stillen Rear Lip. I believe Stillen sells there rear for $200ish. So if you have a chance to save $100 get the ABS rear. End result they look 99.9% identical.

now, the pics u see above on my car cracked is a rare instance when u back up like a dumba$$ (just like me, lol).

i gotta tell ya fellas, it looks 100% like the stillen one and fits 100% perfectly.

at the rate i backed up in that parking lot, the real one would have cracked as well.

urethane doesn't crack?

wrong, it does when the weather is cold.

i have a slight crack on my front touring lip, which is the stillen urethane.

i guess it all depends on how you drive, but trust me, chances you brake the rear are almost next to nothing, unless u back off carelessly like a dumba$$, yes like me.

Yeah, you have to buy the real thing for the front. The rear is no big deal since you can't really scrape that very easily. That's probably what I'll end up doing when I get a kit.
