there are 2 types of materials they make rotors out of...a good material and a semi-good material...the good material isn't known to crack at all...even the other one doesn't commonly crack, it is a semi-rare occurance

Just came back from my dealer about the BRAKE Judder TSB. According to him, Nissan North American TSB may or may not apply to Nissan Canada. Even Nissan Canada said the same thing. hmmm What IS North America? hehehe
Anyways, the mechanic took the car for a ride with me and he felt the steering judder upon breaking and slow and fast speeds, even with the hand break test to test the rear brakes. He was generous to replace my two front discs for free. The front disc has some sort of blueish tint. According to Nissan, blue color means overheat.
WOW! I guess stopping 2 feet from stop signs is not such a good idea...;-)
Well, it is back ordered. Will keep you guys posted. But to be honest with you guys, brakes are not covered with ANY warranties. Because unless it is cracked or failure it is not under warranty. Wear and tear. Like glass pits.

Stillen offers 5th Gen drilled (and maybe slotted) rotors and I believe ProStop, or somebody like that, offer some now too. I believe Avalon Racing carries the Stillen's.
