As far as I'm concerned, any performance grade causes the driver to push the car harder than before, and that doesn't help the gas consumption!

of course, the real reason you're getting flamed is because there are about 1,000 other threads on this subject already....

Quick question to all those who's saying that it's a repost:
Can you find at least one INFORMATIVE thread about intakes?

It somehow, you manage to find one, let us know how much time it actually took you.

I'm not reading all of these, but they are some threads about intakes and gas mileage relation (it alpplies the same for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th gens)

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....intake+mileage

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....intake+mileage

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....intake+mileage

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....intake+mileage

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....intake+mileage

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....intake+mileage

This search took exactly 5 seconds to find (and about 45 seconds to cut and paste the links)

what were you saying?

damn, I was implying that there's so many intake threads whored up by people claiming that it's a repost that it's become very hard to even search for such threads. Well, I guess I was wrong.

Might want to put a sticky...all newbies here and tell us about these things. your site is awsome, thank you

Whats up with all the blue smurph tude around the hoses? Also, every turn the air has to go through, decreses the velocity of air - beats the idea of ram. Would be much better if you had a straight pipe.

I dont think you brew hater aid. I think its instant.

If you picked up, your so to speak, 5miles per gallon, what the hell were you using as an air filter before, a plastic bag over your intake?!
