I just bought my new maxima in NOV... A 2k Lt blue SE 5 spd. with 56k. So far I've put 1k miles on it. Today I get in and start it up and the SES light is on. I start driving down the road and the car is missing and the ses light is flashing. I plan on getting it run on a scanner, but wanted to know if you guys think it's the coil packs or the maf? And if there is any way to check without running a scanner on it.

 

Autozone will run it for free. Just go to your local store and tell them your car is throwing a code.......most likely it's going to be your coils. If it is, call Dave B for the best price, you can get his # in the stickies
