Climate Control Lights Out

2K Max, on the center console, the backlight that emites from the buttons of climate control are blacked out but the digital temp. display still works, button for the audio section is fine.

Do they run on diff. fuses if so does anyone know which one and where is it located for the climate section???

Thanks
~Ron

not fuses..just the bulb burned out...get new ones...my recommendation..LEDS with resistors. IF it was a fuse, the whole thing wouldnt work, let alone have illumination.

yeah you gotta open it up, on my 2k2 manual control, and pop open the back, then you can change the bulbs, just solder some leds on there and i'll last forever.

its either that or maybe you tried taking it apart? I've done that before with my maxima. just had to fix the bulb in the place for it to work again. but if your gonna change it, i highly recommend the LED lights.

I just replaced mine a few weeks ago, really easy and I did not feel like playing with LED's and resistors so I just went ot the dealer and got new factory bulbs. They were about $3.50 each.

What bulbs or leds do poeple suggest switching them with? Can you put polarg's 194 behind there? I also have a my drivers side heater switch bulb that burnt out. However, my drivers side heater seat switch bulb is fine!
