2001 AE...???

I was driving north down a small highway on the way back from work today, I notice a 5th gen coming down the other side of the road heading south. It was silver I believe and looked really nice, the headlights seemed different, they looked like there was a dark divider between the headlight and the corner... ANyway we passed eachother at 60mph so I couldnt read the back (or look for a body kit), but do the AE's have different headlights?
