Tell you the truth, when I bought my car I was looking for the new fogs and I found your profile on domain. I noticed that you had those Hella fogs, and that's how I went with mine. Over all I like them. Great fog lights.
Oh that's just the picture which makes them look dull. I have 85watt Narva Rally gold yellow foglight bulbs in them, but the camera couldn't capture it well.

I also agree with you, the hella fogs are a great replacement for the oem's, and they don't have the cracking issue that the oem haves.

Wasn't there also a problem with the ballasts taking in water/moisture which messes them up? Maybe the cold weather ones are just sealed better? Anyone have pics of the cold weather ballasts?

I learned my lesson from the first ones. When I redid the second ones I sealed them up... hopefully that fixes the problem

m1RAG, i know there are people on this org who have spent alot of money and their time on their maixma, and i do respect that. there are so many nice cars here, but just not yours. dont get offended. mine is stock. id rather have mine stock then trying to make my maxima look like a race car with cheap fancy aerodynamics (ebay). but to each their own right?

Yes to each their own. I personally dont like the 5.5gen BONE STOCK look anyway, I mean if i owned one that looked lyke everyone else's then whats the point. You dont like my maxima...I dont like yours. Lets leave it at that and get back to Angel Eyes / DDEs WHO HAS MORE PICS?

ahh who cares, im probably gonna get rims and then drop it. thats about it. no matter what car i get, everyone else is gonna have it. unless i get like a lambo, or ferrai. i used to think like that when i was a teen, and try to make my car different. but i really dont care anymore, after i sold my modded 240, i was like, "damn all that money i spent is not even worth it!"

The reason why they look so different is because everyone has a different digital camera, on different setting, taking at different locations & times of day, so they will obviously come out looking different. In person for the most part they look identical.

PARDON MY NOOBNESS!
You have to do a modified version of the fog light rewire for your DDE's. You can set them to whatever you want. Usually, you set the DDE's and fogs to come on with the parking lights. But nonetheless, you can have both on at the same time if you really wanted.

M1RAG3,
I was thinking about buying the ebay projectors too but I was told its not plug and play for the 2k max like I have... Is this true? and how hard is too retrofit? How much would it cost for me to buy 2k2 or 2k3 HiD OEM max lights?
Thanks

OH2kblackMAXX's projectors are basically the ebay ones (they are indentical to the ones that customenterprise.com sells). czandMAX, if you buy those ebay projectors, your halos will look IDENTICAL to those in OH2kblackMAXX's picture since you two would have the same projectors.

they are directly plug and play....me and you both have 5th gens (00-01) so I'm 150% sure. This means u PLUG in the line for the driving lights into the OEM harness, and that you PLUG in the line for the indicator/parking lights into the other OEM harness. The only thing that IS NOT plug and play is the HALO RING wiring, you will have to splice the parking light (always on) line and soder the two red halo wires to its green line and the two white halo wires to its white line (red to green, white to white). this can be done in LITERALLY 5 mins and is easy as pie. If you do buy the lights ill send u a diagram of how to do it w/pictures...always glad to help another max owner.

2k2 or 2k3 OEM lights will run you abou $500 off ebay, or around $1300 from the stealership.
