Something hit my headlight, now its loose and aims low

Ok well driving down the freeway something flies and hits my headlight pretty hard. Now i notice it aims about 1 inch lower than the other one.

I think it loosened something because, I can wiggle the headlight back to the original position and then it falls back to the lower 1 inch position. It wiggles back and forth about a cm.

I was wondering what all is exactly holding the headlight still and in position.

2 bolts on top of the headlight and the metal pin that is on the "outside" side of the light hold it in place. Is that pin bent?

you will have to take the housing out to see the pin.... is from the front of the car on the side of the housing.. it goes "inside" with the fender...

There is also a plastic guide underneath the light that attaches to the radiator support (square roughly 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 ) you could have knocked that off. If it's the drivers side it's the corner closest to the grille on the bottom. Hope this helps.

Hijacking is wrong in the forum and can get you banned.. but I will answer this one.. just put some silicone around it and you are good to go..

thanks people. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. I think its those pins that keep it in place after you take out the two bolts on top.

Its the passenger side.
