Went to the dealer with my GF on Friday. She's getting a 2k1 Golf GLS with the 1.8t and a stick. I'm jealous as hell. Golfs have so many tuning parts out there... grrrrr.

no, understeer. its caused from the grippy tires, change the rear tires out a little to have neutral, or RSB.

Oh, I love the M3 and we have actually thought about it for my next car once we make the better cheese. Jon can have his audi and I'll have the beamer. Then we'd race and get in trouble.

ps I got my car last night guys. It's so cute! Plus we were able to wrangle a 6 cd changer out of them as well.

I think it's funny how women see cars versus men. 9 times out of 10 when a girl really likes her car, she thinks it's "cute." In fact, almost every time I get compliments on my Max from women, it is usually very "cute." It's not cute is it fellas...it's MANLY!

Anyways, sorry to digress. Congrats on the new purchase and try to keep punkdork from hogging your ride.

Once I get these things done:

1. little spoiler
2. brushed aluminum shift ****
3. mp3 player (probably the Aiwa we have then Jon will get a new one)
4. front and rear sway bars (I knew that I needed this right away because of how mushy it is on turns, too much body roll)
5. front and possibly rear tie bars
6. front strut tower brace
7. APR 1.0 bar chip
8. springs
9. shocks
10. tint
11. wider wheels with better rims
12. catback exhaust
13. down pipe

Then I can call her my "sweet ride" or my "baby love".

Her name is Shaniqua because she has soul.

Wow. Very nice Alysia. I guess you are registered on vortex.com? Jon, you'll be seeing a lot of her tail liights. Are you going to "borrow" her car?

I doubt I'll be racing *too much* but I'll have fun working on the car with the cute boy. Mind you that list is just a wishlist, not all going to be done at the same time.
I'm sure that was understood but I wanted to throw out a leetle disclaimer.

I still have to learn how drive a 5 speed fully! *blush*

Me likes VW. (Cookie Moster Voice) I've got my eye on the new 201 HP VR6 this fall. I heard that the 2002 1.8 will get the 20 HP increase this fall as well. How smooth is the shifter? My wife said she is willing to learn how as well.

I already am unless I'm behind the wheel of her car hehe. I think I'm gonna ease up on my mode fever in preperation for the new WRX STi or Evo (if it shows up here). I'll still be playing around here, may do a Y-pipe and I'll do my speakers, but I probably won't be doing wheels. It's gonna be a good year or so. I need some equity.
