Question on Stillen + ABS Dynamics front lip 00-03

I know stillen has two front lip styles one for the 00-01's and another for the 02-03. I really like the 02-03 classic style compared to the 00-01, but of course i have a 2000 max. I heard about abs dynamics a while back i think from an old group deal but since that's gone i've had some trouble finding out the info i need and even pics, i keep trying to find some orgers with the abs dynamics lip, but no luck.

But yeah whats confusing is that on abs dynamics site, the front lip is for 00-03, is the bottom of the 5gen and 5.5 gens similar enough that there can be a universal lip like that? Also the pic they have on that site is horrible, i could have sworn the style they used is stillens new classic style for the 02-03. And of course one of the reasons why i'm interested in the abs over the stillen is the price, the lip would only be for spring/summer months.

Anyway if anyone could help me out with some info/pics it would be appreciated. and of course ask me any questions if i'm not being clear. I have time, not in a rush to buy but starting early on research and have been coming up dry on my own.

thx
-Joe

ABS Dynamic's currently do not make a lip to fit the 02-03, they only make the copy of the Stillen one for your year ( 00-01). So if you want the classic 02-03 you're SOL, funny I'm the opposite and didn't like the 02-03 classic lip, I like your year better so I went with the Maxxtuning lip ( on order).

Just some side info: ABS makes the copy of the Stillen rear lip which is the same for all 00-03, quite a few org members have it as it's a lot cheaper and on the rear where as the front has more tendancy to hit parking lot curbs etc so a true poly urethene like Stillen or Maxtuning can take more of a beating.

As far as sideskirts ( also okay for 00-03, only the front is specific 00-01 & 02-03) I was told by an ABS dealer that they are working on the Stillen copied sideskirts.

Did you see this:

Not the front you want but depend in the price you could always resell the front. Hope this helps

Thx for all the info max, yeah i know the urethene from stillen is much stronger but one of the reasons why i don't already have a front lip is because of stillens price, i know it's pretty much that price for the material but to spend over 200 and then to get it painted, eh kinda hits me hard for only being cosmetic you know, would be nice to do the rear too but for now i think i can only afford a front lip for abs's price. need some money left over for some other mods that'll i'll feel, ex. grounding kit (i'm auto..smother shifts..) lower tie bar, wheel spacers, SC..yeah right

as far as scraping ehh, really hope i can prevent that, but doesn't the 00-01 style go a bit lower than the style i like? since the 02-03 is kinda "flat" in the center think i'll be safer? heh ever since i've been lowered i've been going up speed bumps and other steep ramps pointing one side of the front end first not necessarily to clear better, so it's sometimes needed.. but because the suspension setup is so stiff and for habbit, just in case i get a lip.

And thx for the link but i guess i'm just looking for one peice, side skirts don't really do too much for me, nice that we can get away with just a front lip and it'll still look nice...and yeah need to take the lip off for winter, even being lowered now i was kinda plowing with this blizzard...

oh and for anyone else, still looking for pics of the abs dynamics lip on a 00-01, don't think i've seen any.

My god thats the same exact thing on their site...new and all? how are they selling it for such a low price? Though it doesn't really matter seeing the price since what was it? $175 on their site compared to $68 on ebay it looks as if it's the 00-01 style and not the 02-03 stillen style or is it just me?
