The bottom pic was coming out of a slalom diving into a gate. The rear sway bar helped reduce the on-throttle understeer...running 38psi in the rears and 45psi in the front helped pivot the car off-throttle (plus the bar).

course was pretty fast, average times were 49sec area. We got a total of 15 runs (7 in the morning, 8 in the afternoon). In the morning, I ran my CSP CRX on race tires and got a fastest of 41.5xx (2nd faster car with doors overall). Afternoon runs I ran the Maxima. Best of 46.3xx, which was enough to stay competitve in STS (but I was listed under CSP).

So, a STS prepared Maxima (street-tired obviously) should be 3 to 5 seconds slower than a CSP prepared CRX.

In the pictures, you can get an idea how a white GXE will look with SE taillamps and no spoiler. I like the look without the spoiler. The rear flows better without the spoiler imho. Oh well. I'll post more results later when I receive them.

You are right, I am starting to like the look without the spoiler. By the way did any Datsun 510s run that autocross? Did they do well? The CRX is a great car for the autocross if you want to run FWD.

Nope, but a 72? Toyota Corolla was out there. A lot of people thought it was a 510. He was doing the same times I was in the Maxima.
