I didn't see a sunshade on the parts list at the top of the forum. Does anyone know of a decent fitted sunshade for the windshield?

Sunshade? As in something you put inside your car on the front windshield? For $10 at Costco, you can get a quality sunshade, just make sure you get the "jumbo", not the standard.

I bought a jumbo size Brella Shade from the local Canadian Tire store. It comes as 2 seperate pieces which fit nicely over the windshield. Roll up into a fairly compact piece which can be stored under the seat. They also double as umbrellas!

try Target or Walmart as well

I recently bought a jumbo sunshade from Target and it fits great. I think I paid about $10 for it. It has a little velcro strap on it to keep it together. Its a great way to keep the temperature down inside the car and helps protect the dash from sun damage etc.

The Heatshield is the only sunshade I've been happy with. I originally bought one for the 96 Odyssey I use to have. The windshield was so huge that nothing else would fit, so I went to the dealer and bought the custom Heatshield. I liked it so well that after I got my J30 I wanted one. The dealers no longer carry the Heatshield from CanvasWorks but they have ones that look identical from "IntroTech" (yellow packaging). So I bought one thinking it was the same thing. Boy was that a mistake! It wasn't stiff enough so it sagged and slid past the sunvisors, rendering it completely useless! So I returned it to the dealer. Then I ordered a real Heatshield directly from CanvasWorks and it works great. It's cheaper if you order more than one, and also you save on shipping. So you may as well order for all your cars at once.

covercraft shade

No question, the Covercraft UVS line of custom fitted windshield shades are the best. They are sturdy and are thick because of the insulation. They fold up easily too. I loved the one for my Z so much, I bought two more for my SE/AE and Jeep Grand. You have to pay for the quality though, about $50 including shipping.

Wal-Mart Rules (not!)

I just purchased one from Wal-Mart last week. It's the Jumbo size and it's extra thick insulated. Cost was around $12.00 but I'm very pleased with it's performance thus far. Fits the window very well and does a great job at keeping the sun and extra heat out.
