1999 rear stabilizer bar on 2000-2003 car?

Does anyone know if a 1999 RSB (Addco) will fit on a Gen 5 car (well actually on my 2004 I35)? Thanks.

huh? the RSBs are the same for the 95-2003 maximas...since the 2004 i35 is the same as the 5th gen maxima, it will fit....i think you used the wrong analogy there..

Not at all, but I know he will come in here eventually.

We weren't sure if it fit or not, and didn't really go any further to find out. See random threads still do help me.

Thanks for the answers.

Re the "common sense please" comment, does that mean I should have known it would fit.....or not fit?

I'm a rook and it won't let me do new threads yet. Is installing a front strut bar on a 2k SE as simple as removing the 3 screw things on top of each tower, puttin the bar on it, and tightening the screws over it? Sorry to hijack the thread...

That's all you have to do, but don't over-torque any of those 6 nuts when you replace them. Make sure also that the strut bar has enough clearance over the intake manifold, if it doesn't, just add some washers below the strut bar bracket to increase the clearance.

Will the FSB really work if up on washers? I just installed the stillen on my 03 and there is a stupid little bracket that is welded to the metal which used to hold part of the stock air box assy. It actually interferes with the ring on the strut bar and doesn't sit flat. I thought of installing washers underneath but wasn't sure if the FSTB would have the same effect. BTY shame on stillen for not mentioning that the bracket would have to be ground away to fit properly...

I've never heard of anyone having to grind anything to fit a FSTB... I've had an eBay FSTB and an Otto (Stillen knock-off) and have had no such issues... any pictures?
