"japan spec"....."JDM".....etc....these ebay companies call everything JDM or Japan Spec because little ricers think that if it's "Japan Spec" or "JDM" it is somehow cooler, better, more powerful, etc.

With the close tolerances and precise fit needed for y-pipes, I would suggest you stick to the companies that are known to make ypipes that (most of the time) are the correct fit, and of good quality: Cattman, RedlineMax/Warpspeed, Stillen. Not Budget.

What's wrong w/ budget? My budget Y-pipe fit like a glove.

IIRC you've had yours for a while though....seems like most of the guys getting them in the last year have had problems with both fitament and customer service (i.e. getting ones that fit to replace the other ones). When i was Ypipe shopping 2 years ago I almost got the Budget - they had a good rep then....

I realize that alot of them do fit, too - but the customer service is terrible, and they don't stand behind their product from everything I've heard. I would have included the WS pipe on the "not" list also, except Corey (redlinemax) is selling them, and I KNOW FOR A FACT that his customer service is top-notch and he'll take care of the customer if there is a problem...

Must be a new thing like you said. I got my Budget 2 yrs ago...it fit perfect and everytime I called somebody answered and was very polite in helping me and they actually express shipped it for free for me when I asked.
