dam what a sexy car. Glad you are ok man, looks like that hit must have been heavy, just took a chunk of the car out. Hmmm, I would try to find another 6 speed and throw everything over...

I have decided.. I can't have any down time with cars.

I think i am going to just lease a G35 sedan 6 speed. I found a sweet deal one for a lease takeover.. THere really isnt many cars out there to get at this time.

I am still thinking about buying the car.

g35 would be sweet. I guess no more entertainment between you and Jer on TMEC. Too bad it happened now that your car was looking so good.
Good luck with the G.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I was just about to recommend a G35S 6MT. I've already decided that when it's time for me to offload my Maxima, that't what I'd get.

Noooo!!!!

Nooooooo, man I do feel sorry for you bro. The max was very nice. I love how it looked with the Katanas, + all those mods you had. Man, those women just can't drive huh. I'm pissed when they put their make up on, when they eat and talk on the cell phones while driving like no other men does. Well, I say most women just can't and shouldn't drive cause most of the time they don't pay attention to what's going on.

I'm very sorry to see what happened to you.

You can easily fix that whole car for right around $5500.

Airbags and srs module can be had for $1k on ebay. Get new seat belts from the dealer for $300 for the pair and the bumper, hood, fender and headlight can easily be had for $1k. Labor should run you right under $2k w/paint.

Man like many of the guys said, its good to see that you have made it out ok. I feel bad for you Max man. I know how you feel. No I didnt get into an accident, but my car got stolen. The 97 Max I had was deemed totaled by the insurance company after it was recovered.

Man I dont know about that. Looking at the car after the accident, it look like the axle and tranny might be a problem from the angle of the hit the car took. Which usually amounts to major chedder.

I agree. Get those mods off the car. You can take anything off the car that you added. Any aftermarket stuff

Wow i havent read this thread in a while, but here is the latest update.

I actually went back, and the transmission is messed. I couldnt move the shifter, it was jammed. I was unable to get most of the mods off because it was jammed.

SHAME

It was still on winter tires at that time. the 19's were sold to a fellow Toronto Maxima Club member.

As for the exhaust, i wiped my hands clean of the car, and the insurance took it away.. It was too much trouble removing parts for making a measley few grand.

Sorry

glad you came out with a nice car......you should buy it...leasing only sucks up your money and then at the end if you want to buy it you are out even more money plus you have to pay taxes on it then when you go to DMV. also if you hate it, you can just sell it and you dont have to go thru the lease nightmare and all the title work that follows. (advice from your friendly loan officer)
