best $1.38 I have spent....
finally broke down and spent a lil over a buck to cover the holes from the license plate I removed. After walking through half the dang Lowes store, I found the hardware aisle and found the plugs, put two coats of touch up paint on them and plugged them into the bumper, the size is 3/8. Well worth it in my opinion. I remember a thread about someone asking how to cover them, searched and I couldn't find it so I hope they see this thread. here's pics.

Looks good.....
How long were the 3/8 plugs you bought? Did you just push them in or had to pound them to get them flush??? Are they made of plastic? I have been wanting to do this to mine. I have been running without my front liscense plate for two years in Ohio( which requires you to have both a front/rear plate) but have never gotten pulled over for not having one on front.. Thanks for you input and it looks good....
thanks guys. they are plastic, they are about half an inch long, and they push right in with your thumb. Really ez to do and they have a little tab to keep them from coming back out. I was really surprised how the paint matched up.
I think the box I got them out of was marked plugs. I thought about asking someone, but you know we don't like asking for help/ directions... lol

yes, well, the only other option is having hte holes filled by a bodyshop and having your whole bumper painted. I figure that would cost $250-300. And I might do this later on, but for now, I'll go with the $1.38 and save some money. This is alot better than having two holes in your bumper in my opinion. To each his own though.

I'm just glad I could help a few peeps finally, lol. I am usually just take take take take and copy copy copy copy..... LMAO

I wish I could ride w/o my front plate, down here in Houston the cops come to the car, get your id and insurance check both of your tags and make sure you got the plate, then you just wait 5 mins and pray you just got a written warning lol
I picked up a couple of plastic plugs from AZ or Advance, I can't remember. They are black plastic and are found in the hardware/trim pieces section. I left mine black but I'm sure they will take touch up paint.
ok so i just wanted to test it out and today i bought some screw plugs for the holes...i bought a small bottle of artic white paint and painted those plugs...matches about 90% so far how do you make them stay on? i don't want to use super glue. but i think i bought wrong ones...it's just a plastic tab that goes on to those philips screws =/
A co-worker of mine just cut out a couple squares of electrical tape, hit it with some spray paint, and slapped them over the holes. Walking up to the car in a parking lot, you couldn't even tell they were there unless someone pointed them out. It's been over 3 years now and still going strong.
