H-techs in front H&Rs in the rear. **pics here**

For those of you who's been waiting for this set up I have something to say. I installed my Tein H-techs in the front and left my H&Rs in the rear. All I can say what an awsome set up. I've driven in the Eibach and on the H&R drops, tried different set ups switching those around, but wasn't satisfied either with the drop or the ride quality 100%. Installing H-techs in the front and taking the H&Rs out gave me the results I've been waiting: perfect drop with 1/2 inch lower to even up the gap (26" all around), and perfect ride quality.
In my opinion front H-techs feel little better in ride quality then front H&Rs, but they still need to settle a little. And I still need to run over some bumps here in Oklahoma to tell 100% difference. So far so good though.
You be the judge...

H&Rs all around.

H-techs in the front H&R in the rear.

Just some random pics I took with this new set up.

I guess you didn't read my story. Well it's ok, pictures tell the whole thing.
Yeah H-techs lowered by half of inch lower then H&Rs.

Thanks bro. I think this is the best set up with all the springs for the ride quality and looks. I still need to find out how it'll handle.

I hear rear H-techs are not that smooth as rear H&Rs, + rear H&Rs lower the rear by half of inch lower.

Hmmmm... that's probably because you have I35. The drop will vary from the Max. On the maxima front H&Rs don't drop low enought like on I35s.

looks good, btw i called dibs on the H&R. i would like the look of the H-techs, but the road here are pretty bumpy and alot of uneven roads. so i think the H&R up front will even out the stance. thats all i need really.

Krasaveetsa.

Can't wait to get those H&Rs from you. Sorry, Teufel, I've had dibs on them for 3 months now.

How is the ride on the H-techs in front? I'm thinking about changing my S-techs to H-techs in front.

Looks great man...as you know I'm doing the same thing within the next month...Update us on the ride quality pretty soon since you've had some more time to ride on them...To all those people fighting over front H&R...My front set will soon be for sale as well.

The ride quality is great. I don't know which ones are better in ride quality for sure, but I think front h-techs are little better than front H&Rs. I still need to drive around here and make sure how good the set up will ride and handle.
Well anyways, I think that if H&R or Tein would have this set up without us mixing them up, they would be the best springs for our Maximas. I don't know why they couldn't make them that way?

An update!

Well I don't know if it's enough, but I let the springs settle for 2 weeks. I completely have no issues or complaints with those since the day I went with this set up. Still feels really good in quality over the bumps, and in stability. I don't corner hard too often, so I don't know how majorly of a difference H-techs would show compare to the H&Rs. I do think though that the front H-techs feel a little softer over the bumps then the front H&Rs, but that's just my opinion for now.
Kruppa is going to do the same set up soon, and I want to hear how he will like it.

Well I did the same thing as shurik and after I let the springs settle for about a week I cleaned up my wheels and took some pictures...The front still will settle a little bit more, but you get the idea...I also have subs in the back so it weighs it down a bit more in the rear...clearly we have the same taste with the kit, tint, drop, and five spoke wheels.

Keven your max looks awsome man!!!!!!!! Cool pics.
BTW I don't know if you aware of this, but I was going to ask what's your hight in the rear? Gotta be lower then 26" from ground to fender, I think that since you got speakers there!
Well let me know when you can.
Thanks bro, and yes I do agree that we have similar taste of mods.
